MRS. ETHEL BELL BRAWLEY

Of 1813 11th Ave., died in the Altoona
Hospital at 6.40 a.m. today.
She was born in Huntingdon June
29. 1906, a daughter of Lewis and
Caroline (Harris) Frisby. and
married Edgar L. Brawley. Surviving
are her husband, four sons,
Stanley P. Carr of Johnstown,
Edgar L. Jr. and Eugene Brawley
and Cleo A. Carr of Altoona, and
sister, Mrs. Ruth Beavens of
Brooklyn, N. Y. A son, Shirley
Eugene Carr, was killed in action during
World War II on May 1, 1945.
She was a member of the Bethel
A M.E. Church and the
J.O.A.M.M.A., Order of Eastern
Star. Friends wilt be received at
the Laughlin-Carn Funeral Home
after 7 p.m. Saturday and after 11
a.m. Monday at the church.
