Amy Oneta Short Hatch, 39, died July 30, 2010, in Prescott. She was born Feb. 26, 1971 in Prescott.

Amy passed peacefully from this life after many difficult years following a tragic car accident in 1997. She led a full life and will be missed.

She is survived by son Kaleb Hatch of Ore., and daughter Kyra Hatch of Arizona; mother Linda Laney; brothers Jason Hooper, Benjamin Short and Robert Short Jr.; sisters Lucia Fitzgerald, Sarah Geisler, Moiria Fitzgerald, and Melissa Short and grandfather Vernon Laney.

Amy was preceded in death by her father Robert Short and son Korey Hatch.

Visitation will be held at 10 a.m Saturday, Aug. 7, (Arizona time) at the Luna Ward Building of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Luna, N.M. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. at the Luna Cemetery followed by the interment.

Burnham Mortuary of Eagar handled arrangements.
