C. H. Adams, 74, of Stephenville, died Monday, August 02, 2010 in Stephenville.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, at the Graham Street Church of Christ with Randy Daugherty, officiating, assisted by Don Parker. Interment will follow at Oakdale Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Wednesday, at Stephenville Funeral Home.

C. H. was born January 2, 1936 in Erath County to the late P. D. ‘Shorty' and Ruby Gooding Adams. C. H. was a member of the Graham Street Church of Christ where he served the church as a deacon. He spent several years as supervisor of Tarleton State University farm and dairy operations, and served as an Erath County Commissioner for many years. C. H. was a retired dairyman and rancher, and a life long resident of Erath County.

C. H. is survived by his wife of 50+ years, Rudene Pack Adams; daughters, Susan Haynes of Early, and Dena and husband Jeff Reecer of Denton; son, Todd and wife Kristi Adams of Stephenville; grandchildren, Heath Haynes, Chloe Reecer, Aaron Reecer, and Allissa Adams; great grandchildren, Mason and Laura Haynes; sister, Margie Gazaway; brothers, Bob Adams, L. E. ‘Shorty' Adams, Richard Adams, and James Adams; and several nieces and nephews.

C. H. is also preceded in death by a brother, Carroll Adams
