World War II Veteran Seaman Second Class Arthur Bobo, U.S. Navy was killed action aboard USS Franklin (CV-13) when the ship was attacked by Japanese bombers about sixty miles off the coast of Japan.

Prior to the war, Arthur attended Oklahoma City University (OCU) where he was a brother of the Phi Chi Phi (PCP) (local) Fraternity. According to the school's 1945 yearbook, he started the 1944-45 academic year at OCU.

Note: In 1952, PCP became the Oklahoma Delta chapter of Sigma Phi Epsilon (SigEp) Fraternity.

His awards include the Purple Heart.
