Ina was my sister. She died at the age of thirty three, leaving four young children: Bruce, Lesly, Deborah and David Spencer. She was a wonderful wife, mother and friend to all who knew her. She had a beautiful singing voice, which she shared freely, especially in her church choir. Ina was also blessed with a green thumb, which made my flower-growing efforts seem quite anemic. I think of her when I hear the saying that "flowers leave their fragrance on the hands that bestow them." That was Ina. Her father-in-law dubbed her "the most beautiful girl he had ever seen". That, too, was our Ina. Rest in Jesus, sweet sister. You are so loved!
