Mrs. Susan Avery, 86 years old, died at 4:30 o'clock Wednesday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Wm. Lutes, South Twenty-fifth street. She is survived by five daughters and two sons. The funeral will be held from the residence at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon. The body will be taken to Waukomis Oklahoma for burial.

Sarah Ann Avery, 86 years old, died at 4:30 o'clock yesterday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. William Lutes, in South Twenty-fifth street. She is survivied by five daughters, Mrs. William Lutes, Mrs. Bell Lofton, Mrs. Jose Volding, Mrs. Mary Hueston and Mrs. Nancy Clark, two sons the Rev. T.B. Avery of Grayville, Ind. and William Avery of Terre Haute. The funeral will be held at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon at the residence and the body will be taken to Waukomis, Okla. for burial.

Susan was converted at the age of 17 years old and united with the United Brethen Church and lived a devout Christian life. At the time of her death she was a member of the Evangelical Church of Waukomis. Oklahoma. Funeral services were conducted at her daughters home in Terra Haute, Indiana and the body was shipped to Waukomis, Oklahoma where funeral services were held at the M.E. Church and the remains were laid to rest beside her husband in the Waukomis cemetery.
