Aged 84y. One of the oldest Odd Fellows in the state. Resident of Springfield for 51 years.

Son of William and Elizabeth Peaker. Born in Hull, England and came to U. S. in 1851, settling in Albion. Married Susie Cox of Scott County, Illinois, in 1860, and moved to Springfield in 1869.

Survived by sons Fred H. of Springfield and Charles A. of Des Moines, Ia.; daughters Mrs. J. H. Pike of Parsons, Kansas and Mrs. Mary A. Robertson of Springfield; brother John Peaker of near Jacksonville and a half-sister Mrs. Lucy Endicott of Whiteside County, IL; nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. ~Extracted from published obituary, IL State Journal, Springfield, IL, 11-28-1920
