Norman served as a Private First Class with the 47th Infantry Regiment, 9th Infantry Division, U.S. Army during World War II.

He resided in Cecil County, Maryland prior to the war.

He enlisted in the Army on August 20, 1943 in Baltimore, Maryland. He was noted as being employed as a Driver and also as Married.

Norman was " Killed In Action " in Germany during the war.

He was awarded the Purple Heart!

Norman married Julia Belle Preston in October, 1942. It is believed that they did not have any children.
