The men of the 80th Anti-Aircraft Battalion, 82nd Airborne Divison came into Normandy by sea at Utah Beach with the Howell Force on June 8, 1944. 1/Sgt Keith W. Arledge was KIA, Operation Market Garden, Berg en Dal, The Netherlands on 9 Oct 1944. Awared Purple Cross.
