Pfc Terence G. Beardsley enlisted in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on 11 January 1943.

He died April 30 in Germany of wounds received earlier. With the 82nd Airborne Division, Pvt. Beardsley had been in service three years, one year of which was spent overseas. He wore the Purple Heart, Bronze Star, Presidential Unit Citation and the Combat Infantryman's Badge. He was also awarded the Silver Star
