Son of Mrs. Lula M. Brosz who resided in New Port, Kentucky.


Buddy served as a Sergeant & Gunner on B-24H #42-64497, 740th Bomber Squadron, 455th Bomber Group, Heavy, U.S. Army Air Forces during World War II.


He resided in Campbell County, Kentucky prior to the war.


He enlisted in the Army Air Corps on October 2, 1942 at Fort Thomas, Newport, Kentucky. He was noted, at the time of his enlistment, as being employed in the mechanical treatment of metals and also as Single, with dependents.


Buddy was declared "Missing In Action" when his B-24, flying out of San Giovanni, Italy, lost at least one of their engines and collided with B-24 #41-29296 just west of Tremiti Island and crashed in the Adriatic Sea during the war.
