FACTS :

At the time of his enlistment, Keith was married with 3 children, Sporting Editor of the Brisbane Telegraph Newspaper and had a distinguished sporting career representing Queensland playing Rugby.

He was so keen to go Overseas, with the 2/26 Infantry Battalion that he left an Officers' Training School at Liverpool, New South Wales to rejoin the Battalion , go on pre-embarkation leave and go to Malaya.


Skipper of the Battalion Sailing Team at Regatta held 7 September 1941 at Changi. Also crewed for Capt. White while stationed at Wavell Camp.

For your tomorrow,

We gave our today."
