PFC Heidenreich was wounded at Chateau Thierry but soon returned. He was killed in battle during the St. Mihiel drive. A brave and courageous soldier with a splendid record behind him. He served throughout the Lorraine Sector and the Battle of Champagne with the regiment. ☆
