Pvt. Andrew Sabol of Braceville Is Killed in France
Pvt. Andrew Sabol, 35 of Braceville, the son of Mrs. Mary Sabol and the husband of Mrs. Minnie Viara Sabol was killed in action in France on August 9, according to a telegram received by his wife yesterday.
Pvt. Sabol entered the service in November 1943 and took his training a Camp Wolters, Texas. He was sent overseas in June.
Besides his widow and mother, he is survived by a brother, Kenneth of Central City and a sister in Chicago.
Prior to entering the service, he was graduated from Braceville Grade School and was employed at the Goose Lake Brick Yards.
Pvt. Sabol was with the 5th Infantry Division and died at the Battle of Angers (France).
