He married Myra June Hooker (Mouser McLelland) on 11/09/1943.
He served for 6 years in the Pacific on the USS Oklahoma City as a Gunners Mate. He was on one of the first Liberty boats into Tokyo Bay at the end of the war.
After the War he tried farming land near his father in Blevins Arkansas. This didn't work out and so in 1948 Olen & Myra moved with his Uncle Theo Mouser to the Willamette Valley Oregon where he worked in logging for about ten years, then he built his egg ranch in Tumalo Oregon in 1960, this was sold in 1970.
He then worked in construction in Tumalo until returning home to Arkansas in 1986.
Then he Married Doris Montgomery Carmen Mouser.
Olen and Myra Mouser raised 7 children.
