Technical Sergeant Paul Francis Henry was Killed In Action on 25 July 1943 while serving as the Radio Operator/Gunner with B-17 aircraft 42-3075 (LONGHORN) on a bombing mission to Hamburg, Germany.
The formation of B-17s was attacked by an estimated 300 enemy fighters and Henry's ship was disabled by enemy action over the target, crashing in the vicinity of Wesel, Germany.
Two men are Missing In Action, five men were Killed In Action and three men were captured and became Prisoners of War until May 1945.
