Son of James Thomas & Jane (nee Vigar) Andrews. Leslie Andrews enlisted in the Australian Imperial Force on 3 August 1915 and embarked from Sydney for active service abroad on 30 September 1915 per HMAT "Argyllshire" (A8). He was killed in action aged 23 years 9 months.
