William Alfred Chauncey was a son of Alfred Grass and Clorinda Osborn Chauncey. On May 6, 1906, he married Bessie V. Williams, but by 1910 William was back with his parents...no Bessie mentioned. William was a miner of zinc. At the time of the 1920 census he was living with his mother in Quapaw Township, Ottawa County, Oklahoma. I don't know whether William died in Oklahoma or in Missouri. I have not been able to locate a death record in Missouri (online database).
