Shelton, Nebr., Aug. 10 (Special) - Mrs. Melissa E. Kunkle is dead at her home here at the age of 73 years, dropsy being the cause of her demise. Mrs. Kunkle has been a resident of this community for nearly forty years, but spent the past winter with a daughter at Genoa, Colorado, returning to Shelton about three months ago. Her husband has been dead about 25 years and she is survived by three daughters and one son, Mrs. Erastus Barger and Mrs. Ed Kunkle, of Shelton and Mrs. William Echternacht and L. M. Kunkle, of Genoa, Colo. Mrs. L. C. Batterson, of Shelton, is a sister of the deceased.
Funeral services will be held at the M. E. church here Saturday afternoon and the body interred in the Shelton cemetery.
