Adeline-8 E. was the daughter of Charles-7 Calvin Warner and his wife Eliza Foot/e.

11 WARNER siblings: Calista, George Edward, Olive Stevens, Charles, Calvin Frank, Francelia A., Ella Diett Caswell & Lovejoy & Cole, [Self], James Carl, Orestes Brunson, Elmer, and Mary Gladys "Gladys".

She married 1) Hiram Ellison on September 19, 1871, at Mason, Ingham, MI, at 17 years of age. She and Hiram divorced.

2 ELLISON children:

1. Eva May Ellison died at age 3.

2. Clarence Henry Ellison (4/28/1875-1945).

Adeline married 2) Frank H. Cole on November 4, 1880, at Perry, Shiawasee, MI at 26 years of age.

2 COLE children:

3. Herbert Milton Cole (1882-1960).

4. Ella May Cole (4/11/1897-1970); m. George Banker.

The obituary states that Adeline left 2 sons and a daughter.

After Adeline died at 44 years of age on 4/25/1897 (two weeks after the birth of her baby, Ella May), her widowed husband, Frank H. Cole, married Adeline's sister, Ella Diett on 8/3/1898. Ella Diette then became baby Ella May Cole's step-mother as well as aunt.

About 12 years later, Adeline's sister, Ella Diett (Warner) Caswell and Cole, was crushed by a train while stepping over a coupling on the train in Perry, MI, in 1912. Her step-daughter/neice, 12-year-old Ella May Cole, who saw it all, was thrown clear.
