Funeral services were held from the Heyer chapel this afternoon for James A. COCHRAN who died Tuesday following a long illness. Rev. Alfred Carlyon was in charge and burial was in the Steamboat cemetery. Pallbearers were Frank SQUIRE, William STEES, Henry MARTIN, Gus SANDELIN, Chester HITCHENS and Dennis CULLEN.
Mr. COCHRAN was born near Central City, March 16, 1878, and for 45 years made his home on a ranch on lower Elk river. He had lived in Steamboat Springs for the past five years. Survivors are his sister, Mrs. Ida MILLER, a brother, John; one niece and two nephews.
