Mary was born about 1871. Though the 1910 census lists her birthyear as 1880, the 1920 census and her obituary corroborate her birthyear as about 1871.

Mary's mother was named Mary Polly A. "Pollie" Coley. Pollie was married twice - to James S. Bryant and David L. Simpson Sr.. Mary has five known siblings from her mother's marriage to David L. Simpson Sr.; and one known sibling from her mother's marriage to James Bryant. Mary has two siblings more siblings who are mentioned in her obituary; it is unknown at this time whether their father was James Bryant or David Simpson. Updated - LFC, 29 Dec 2023.

Fred and Mary Frances were married on 20 Sep 1905 in Bibb County, GA. They do not have any children per the 1910 and 1920 censuses. Added - LFC, 29 Dec 2023.

Though her obituary says she lived in Montrose her whole life, she married in Macon, GA in 1905 and lived there through at least 1922 when her husband Fred passed away. In 1930, she is living in Salem, Bleckley County, GA with her sister Eloise (Bruce) Williams.

Widow of Fredrick Morse/Morris Harper, former Macon city policeman who passed away from Bright's disease on June 30, 1922 in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Mary's record lists her as "Mrs. F M. Harper". Mary was interred on 06 Nov 1933. Her birth date and death date are not listed on her record and there is no family memorial photo available. One can view her obituary on their website. Riverside Cemetery's record implies that Mary is buried with her husband Fred L. Harper (1880-1922); her mother-in-law, Margaret Eugenia Harper (1857-1915); and her father-in-law, William B Harper (1855-1917).
