Services held today for Mrs. Williams, Marvell Grandmother

-Moved to Marvell from Mississippi in 1920-

Funeral services for Mrs. Tild Williams, 76, were to be held this afternoon at 3 o'clock from the Brickell Funeral Parlor in Marvell.

Mrs. Williams died suddenly Sunday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. D. G. Threadgill, in the Hicks community. A native of Iuka, Miss., she moved to Arkansas in 1920 and had lived in the Marvell Community since.

Besides her daughter, she is survived by four sons, R. V. Canady, Pine Bluff, Holbert Canady, Holly Grove, Clayton Canady, Memphis, and Dayton Williams, Como, Miss., three brothers, R. Guy Adams, Tupelo, Miss., Arden B. Adams, Iuka, Miss., and James Adams, Baldwyn, Miss., four sisters, Mrs. Simon Wigginton and Mrs. Ruben Williams, both of Belmont, Miss., Mrs. John Wilson, Double Springs, Ala., and Mrs. John Adair, Dennis, Miss., 15 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Services were conducted by the Rev. Carl Gunn, Marvell Baptist minister. Interment was in Marvell Cemetery.

Pallbearers included: Wilson Tinion, Louis Carlisle, Howard Keller, J. C. Sanders, F. M. Costello, Buddy Sanders, Edward Hall and Homer Keller.

Brickell Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements.
