Mrs. Henderson, 416 Garwood avenue, has received word that her husband, Pte. A. Z. D. Henderson, was killed in action on July 16th. He enlisted with the 78th Battalion Winnipeg Grenadiers in September of 1916, and later transfered to the 28th Battalion under the command of Lieut.-Col. Embury. Prior to enlistment, he was a driver for the T. Eaton compagny. Beside his wife, three children survive, the youngest who he had never seen.
