Katherine Bracken Adams, 95, of Atlanta, died Wednesday. A native of Alabama, she had been a longtime resident of Tampa and moved to Georgia four years ago. She was a charter member of the Seminole Heights United Methodist Church, Tampa, the first president of the Hillsborough County PTA and also a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
She is survived by one son, Donald B. of Tampa; one daughter, Jane Pitman of Decatur, Ga.; 10 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, John Thompson "Jack" Adams Jr. (b. 28 Oct 1912-FL, d. 11 Sep 1984-NC).
