Violet Dohman, 94, of Vienna, formerly of Chatsworth, died Saturday, July 17, 2010, at Union County Hospital, Anna.
She was born Nov. 23, 1915, in Strawn, to Frank and Hanna Benson Kemnetz. She married Francis Dohman on April 23, 1938. He died April 23, 1993.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated for Francis and Violet Dohman at 10:30 a.m. Sept. 4 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic–Church,–with burial to follow in St Patrick's Cemetery, Chatsworth. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be given to the Alzheimer's Association or to Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Chatsworth.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two sisters; a newborn, Rose Haberkorn; three brothers, Paul, Francis and Lyle Kemnetz; and one great-great-granddaughter.
