Hobert Napier, 64, New Point, died 12:57 a.m. today, July 17, 1986, in the Providence Hospital in Cincinnati. He had been ill the past six months.
Napier was born Oct. 8, 1921 in Burning Springs, Ky., the son of Thomas and Abbie Bull Napier. He worked for Hillenbrand Industries the past 19 years. He was a member of the Church of God in Burning Springs, and had attended other churches in the New Point community.
He married Pauline Peterson Feb. 25, 1946, in London, Ky., and she survives; with four daughters, Mrs. Sonny (Betty) Davis, and Mrs. Thomas (Joyce) Flannery, both of New Point, Abbie Shelton, Greensburg and Peggy Darlene Napier, at home; one son, James Hobert Napier, at home; one sister, Mrs. Nacy (Opal) Hacker, Burning Springs; three grandchildren and several nephews and nieces.
He preceded in death by three sisters: Eve ad Gladys Napier and Evelyn Lorber and one brother, Lawrence Napier.
Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home, with the Rev. Mark S. Vice and the Rev. Lonnie Looper officiating. Burial will be in the Rossburg Cemetery.
