Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth Price, age 55, were held Saturday, December 20 at 11 o'clock a.m. from the Caldwell Chapel in Adair County with the Rev. H. C. Moxley of Creston, Ky., officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. Mrs. Price, a native of Virginia, died at her home in Adair County Thursday, December 18. She had been in ill health for several years. She professed faith in Christ at an early age in life and was a member of the Union Baptist Church at Caldwell Chapel in Adair County. She united in marriage to Felix Price in 1910, to this union five daughters and three sons were born. Surviving are Mrs. Elby Giles, Mrs. Grover Blair, Mrs. Finis Corbin, Mrs. Virgil Corbin, all of Adair County, Mrs. Arthur Stewart of Louisville, Raymond Price of Edinburg, Ind., and Chester Price, with the U. S. Army located in Frankfort, Germany. Besides husband and children, she is survived by one brother, Elijah Blevans of Virginia, 8 grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends. Pallbearers were Walter Scott, R. B. Miller, Grover Blair, Virgil Corbin, Curtis Dixon, and Elves Owens.
