Roy, age 89, died at Westy Community Care Home in Westmoreland. He was the son of Roy and Helen (Collister) Currie. He served in the US Navy aboard the USS Elmore during World War II. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sisters, Eugenia Williams and Kathleen Johnson. A Celebration of Life was held at the VFW in Manhattan. Cremation has taken place, and a private service was held at Carnahan Creek Cemetery.
