Celia was the mother of his children named Raymond Sidney, Elmer O., Grant Claude, Grace C., and Budd George. Some of the family referred to him as Bennie and sometimes he was referred to as Benjamin. In the US census of 1910 and 1920 he was a farm laborer, on the 1930 US census he was shown as a farm laborer on a dairy farm.
