Mary Frances Rupp Eggers, 98, died Saturday, Aug. 7, 2010, at Franciscan Villa Nursing Center in Broken Arrow, Okla.

She was born Oct. 9, 1911, near Bazine in Ness County, to Joseph and Katherine Dechant Rupp.

On Feb. 28, 1938, she married Charles Eggers at St. Ignatius Catholic Church in Nonchalanta, Ness County. They worked on a wheat farm outside of Ness City.

Her husband died March 15, 1992. She also was preceded in death by a son, Donald Lee Eggers; a daughter, Judith Ann Eggers; three brothers, John, Frank and Michael Rupp; and two sisters, Kathryn Zimmerman and Pauline Kaiser.

Survivors include two sons, Kenneth J. Eggers of Canton, Ga., and Gary W. Eggers of Broken Arrow; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two brothers, Paul Rupp of Lakin, and Adam Rupp of Fort Dodge; and three sisters, Julia Stoecklein of Hutchinson, Rita Riebel of Minneola, and Elvira Billinger of Scott City.

Funeral Mass was at Sacred Heart Church in Ness City. Burial was at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Ness City.
