John Duhig was the brother of Anna (Duhig) Reisdorff and Eva (Duhig)Thomas. He was married to Grace... they had two children Tommy and Johnny. Grace became ill and the children were sent to Overlook Farm in Omaha, NE. This would later become Boys Town. Grace died and John wrote to find work at a grading camp in Kansas that he had work for before they wrote back encouraging him to come down, not knowing that he had died in his sleep at his sister Eva's home. Leaving his children orphans. They stayed at Boys Town until they became legal age.
