Hazelton--Elmer Dean Betty, 66 died at St. Francis Hospital, Wichita. Born Jan 25, 1914 in Hazelton, he married Betty Jo Aldridge, Aug 1, 1945 in Wink, Texas. He was a retired retail grocer. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Kiowa; Wichita Consistory; Midian Shrine.
Survivors; widow of the home; son: Roy J. Betty, Tulsa, Okla.; daughters: Mrs. Ruby L Kirk, Denver, Colo.; Mrs. Mary Joyce Abrams, Lawrence; brother: Harry Betty, Kiowa; sister: Mrs. Anna Lois Richardson, Dearborn, Mich.; five grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the United Methodist Church, Hazelton; the (Rev) Jan Kump. Burial at the Rose Hill Cemetery, Hazelton. Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. Thursday at the Fisher Funeral Home, Kiowa.
