Date: Friday, February 10, 1961

Rites Saturday
For Mrs. Moore

Funeal for Mrs. Brenda Lee Moore, 80, Shawmut, will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at Todd Congregational Christian Church at Shawmut with the pastor, the Rev. A. C. Nelson, conducting the service.

Burial in charge of Johnson and Company, Langdale, will be in Shawmut Cemetery.

Mrs. Moore died Thursday in George H. Lanier Memorial Hospital, Langdale, aftr a serious illness of one week.

A native of Randolph Countuy, Ala., Mrs. Moore had lived in Shawmut 23 years. She was a member of Todd Congregational Christian Church.

Survivors incude a daughter, Mrs. R. S. Helfin, LaGrange; five sons, Handley M. Morrow, Norwich, Conn.; Herbert Morrow, Shawmut; Hoyt Morrow, Ft. Worth, Texas; Talmadge Morrow, Shawmut; a brother, J. W. Burson,, Shawmut; nine grandchildren and nine geat-grandchildren.

Lee Bertha Burson was enumerated with her parents in 1880 and 1900. Her brother, listed in her obituary, was John William Burson who died in 1964 (her other siblings had died prior to 1961).

She first married J. M. Morrow on 25 Aug 1910
in Randolph County. She evidently married again to a (--?--) Moore whose information I do not yet have.

Gravesite Details

The Town of Langdale is now part of the City of Valley, Al. The Obit has her name as Brenda Lee Moore and on her Marker it is Lee Bertha Moore
