Sarah Jane Jennings, wife of Wm. R. Jennings, died at her home, Walpole, Ill. on August 6, 1892. Her disease was cancer. Mrs. Jennings was a former resident of Franklin, and was married to Wm. R. Jennings on Dec. 26, 1850. She united with the Christian church of this city in 1854. The funeral services, conducted by Elder J. C. Cantrell, occurred on August 7 and the body was buried in the Christian Liberty cemetery near Walpole.
