GUY L. LINN

Guy L. Linn was born at Pawnee City March 17, 1889, and died suddenly at his home three miles south of Abilene, Kan., Tuesday evening, Oct 26. While he had not been in the best of health for some weeks, his death was a great shock to his family and friends.

Guy was the oldest son of Lewis Linn and Martha Davidson Linn. He moved from Pawnee county to Abilene with his parents in 1908, and had made his home here ever since.

March 1, 1925, he was united in marriage to Miss Grace Kraybill of Abilene, and to this union one daughter , Dorothy, was born.

He united with the Christian church at Abilene about 1912 and was a faithful and active member, serving as deacon for many years, which place he held at the time of his death.

His parents and only brother preceded him in death. He leaves to mourn his passing his beloved wife; his daughter, Dorothy; five sisters, Mrs. G. M. Blye of Covington, Ind., Mrs. Amy E. Marble, Table Rock, Mrs. Edna Hazlitt, Topeka, Kas,. Mrs. F. Sidinger and Mrs. L. L. Caldwell, Portland, Ore., many other relatives and a host of friends.

Funeral services were held at the Eicholtz chapel Friday afternoon, Oct 29, conducted by Rev. Troy Bess of Holton, Kas., a former pastor of the Abilene Christian church. Interment was in the Abilene cemetery.
