John Carl Buckland, 43, of 19908 Higgs Road died at 8:31 a.m. Friday, April 23, 2004, at Grinnell Regional Medical Center in Grinnell, Iowa.
Born Jan. 9, 1961, in Beckley, W.Va., to Hubert and Helen Laura Gerter Buckland, he married Jeannie Stull on Aug. 6, 2002, in Peoria. She survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Ruth Ann Buckland of Trivoli; two granddaughters; two brothers, Troy Buckland and Jerry Reed, both of West Virginia; and four sisters, Reba Elmore of Massachusetts, Rebecca Cook of Virginia, Patricia Kerbawy and Charlotte Richmond, both of West Virginia.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He was a truck driver for Gainey Trucking Co. for 13 years.
There will be no services. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight at Anderson-Sedgwick Funeral Home in Farmington. Cremation will be accorded after the visitation.
