Oneal Anders, 95, loving husband of Elizabeth Ramey Anders, for 17 years and the son of the late G. M. and Rosie Smith Anders, died November 29, 2009.

Mr. Anders was a retired supervisor from Union Carbide and was a former deacon at Brandon Baptist Church. His hobby was gardening.

Surviving in addition to his wife, are daughters Carolyn Abbott, Linda Vaughan and Bill; son, J.R. Anders and Anita; brother, Joe Anders; step-sons, Harold Ramey and Patricia, Bill Ramey and Gail; step-daughter, Sandra Wolters; four grandchildren, Amy Todd, Lance and Todd Anders, Brian Vaughan; and nine great-grandchildren.

Mr. Anders was predeceased by his first wife, of 57 years Evelyn Beeks Anders; step-daughter, Martha Ramey Strickland; four sisters; and two brothers.

The service will be on Tuesday, December 1, 2009 at 3 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest Chapel, with visitation prior from 1-2:30 p.m. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, West.

Memorials may be made to Brandon Baptist Church, 16 Calder Street, Greenville, S.C. 29611 The family is at the residence.
