Christen O. Madson Dead
On last Friday, word of the death of Christ Ole Madson at Shaunavon, Saskatchewan, Canada, was received by Alex Gustaveson, brother of Mrs. Madson.
The deceased formerly owned and operated a farm adjoining that of his brothers, P.O. Madson in North Freeborn township.
He left here about 16 years ago, locating near Bowbells, North Dakota and later moving to Canada.
He leaves a wife and nine children, three daughters and six sons.
He was a brother to P.O. , A.O., and M.O. Madson and Mrs. John C. Johnson.
His mother, Mrs. O. Madson lives in Albert Lea with two daughters, Misses Stella and Josie Madson.
Half brothers and sisters of the deceased are Carl and Elmer Madson, Mrs. Casper Nelson, Mrs. Henry Hendrickson, of Albert Lea.
Julius, Thorvald, Albert and Freemont Madson of Dorset, Minnesota.
Mrs. W.N. Wangen of Hatland and Mrs. Louis Grasdalen of Bancroft.

Mrs. Clara A. Madson of Parkland, died Sunday in a Centralia hospital.
Born in Freeborn, Minnesota in 1873 she had lived in Tacoma for the past two years.
Surviving are four sons; Julius with whom she made her home;Elmer of Bonner's Ferry, Idaho; Leonard of Lewiston, Idaho; and Iver of Progress, British Columbia. Four daughter; Mrs. Fred Olson, Mrs. Edwin Ellingson, Mrs. O.O. Sonstenes and Mrs. William Campbell all of Canada.
