DEATH CLAIMS MRS. LUTHER BROWN
Wife of Well Known Auto Garage Owner Dies after Short Illness

An unusually sad death occurred Saturday night when Mrs. Zoa Brown, wife of Luther Brown, the well known automobile garage owner, died of acute Bright's disease at her home on West Seventh Street. She was 39 years old. Besides her husband and sons, aged 12 and 4, Mrs. Brown leaves a two-week-old baby boy.

Mrs. Brown, a native of Bloomington, was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Blackwell, now of Indianapolis, who with other relatives and members of the family were at the bedside when the end came.

She and Mr. Brown were happily married 14 years ago and spent all their married life here with the exception of a short time when they lived at Remington, Ind.

The death of Mrs. Brown was the first to break the circle of a family of eight children born to Mr. and Mrs. Blackwell.

The surviving brothers and sisters are: Mrs. Charles Brock, Mrs. Everett Sparks, Mrs. Shaw, John and Tobe Blackwell, this city, and three others in Indianapolis.

Funeral services were conducted at two o'clock this afternoon at the house in charge of the Rev. C. M. Kroft of the Fairview Methodist Church.
Interment took place at Rose Hill Cemetery.

The pallbearers were L. J. Brown, Everett Sparks, Homer Brock, Charles Brock, Ray Adams and Otto Hutchison.
