OBITUARY Lafayette Grange No. 305, at :the regular meeting held Dec. 1st, 1877, passed the following resolutions:

Whereas, It has pleased our Divine Master to take from our midst our beloved brother, Wm. J. Cooper, therefore, be it Resolved, That in the death of brother Cooper the grange has lost a worthy member, the bereaved family a dutiful son, a king husband and an affectionate father. Resolved, That we deeply sympathize with the family and friends in this, their great bereavement. But whilst we mourn the loss of a beloved brother, we mourn not as those who have no hope. Resolved, That these resolution be spread upon the records, a copy sent to the bereaved family and a copy sent to the Journal of Agriculture and Farmer, and county papers for publication. J.R.
