"Your Mother is always with you. She's the whisper of the leaves as you walk down the street. She's the smell of certain foods you remember, flowers you pick, the fragrance of life itself. She's the cool hand on your brow when you're not feeling well. She's your breath in the air on a cold winter's day. She is the sound of the rain that lulls you to sleep, the colors of a rainbow, she's Christmas morning. Your mother lives in side your laughter. She's the place you came from, your first home, and she's the map you follow with every step you take. She's your first love, your first friend, even your first enemy, but nothing on earth can separate you not time, not space....not even death"

If love could have saved your life, you would have lived forever, and in the hearts of those who loved you, you will always be there.

Pat/Mom was born in Kannapolis,NC. Pat and Wayne had a very happy marriage and have three sons. I married their oldest son,Michael. I have some VERY fond memories of visits and trips we took, all four of us. We went to the Grand Canyon and to Mexico Beach, had a great time!!!! Mom came out to Las Vegas when we lived out there,we went and saw the Siegfried and Roy Show, elbows touching the stage. WOW!!! What a show!!!! I would give anything to be able to relive those days. At least I have the memories of the good times to look back on and smile. I went to my first Major League baseball game in 1985, and got to see the KC Royals play. Mom and I playfully "fighting" over the binoculars to get a get a better view of George Brett. LOL That was FUN!!! I remember when Mom and Dad came out to Las Vegas to see Christian for the first time, they were thrilled!!!! We went up to Mt.Charleston and had a grand time. I've saved ALL the letters and cards we/I received from Mom over the years and treasure them. I also have recipe cards written by Mom and of course those are keepers. I'll have to get them laminated so they'll last for many more years, even passing them down to Chrisitan. Looking back at all the times we spent together makes me smile. : ) Thanks Mom for bringing up a fine boy who turned into the GREAT man and husband to me and the BEST daddy to Christian. I was always treated like a daughter than a daughter in law and that made me feel really good. I remember coming back from New Orleans on our honeymoon,we needed to make a pit stop, got out of the car,we hear a LOUD SCREAM from across the parking lot,Pat and Wayne had stopped there as well headed back home from our wedding. I know God had a hand in that taking place,I LOVED it!!! Thank you for the fond memories we had together,I'll cherish those forever and smile. We ALL miss you and wish we had more time with you,but we know you're in heaven watching over us,we'll be seeing you again one day and what a reunion that will be!!!!!
Today is your 73rd birthday and it's on Friday the 13th just like the day you we born,I always thought Friday the 13th was lucky,I was right. Happy Birthday Mom/Grandma!!!! We love you!!!!!

I caught the whiff of the perfume you wore several years ago. I still haven't figured out what the name of it is yet, but I knew that was you. ;) I love and miss you SO much.

Mom/Pat/Grandma called Christian "Snickerdoodles" and the pup we had at the time,Mandy she called her "Brown Eyes".

Pat & Wayne's ashes were scattered in a remote part of Branson,MO on what would've been their 67 anniversary. They were married on June 18,1955.

Pat/Mom/Grandma's nickname for our son Christian was "Snickerdoodles".
