Glenn Darney Prince died one Tuesday, Aug. 20, 1996 in Mary Black Memorial Hospital. Native of Polk County, NC and widower of Mary Sue Gilbert Prince. Son of the late Frank and Exie Prince and owner and operator of Prince Farms. Charter member and director of Green Creek Volunteer FIre Department for 32 years. One of two charter members of the Green Creek Ruritan Club, where he was a member for 34 years. He served on the board of U. S. D. A. stabilization and conservation service in Polk County, NC for 15 years. Survivors included: one daughter; one son; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
