Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Tuesday, May 30, 2006 at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, Lumpkin Road Chapel, with Reverend Dr. Bobby Coleman officiating. Interment will follow in Adams Chapel Cemetery, Harlem, Ga.
Mr. Adair was a native of Barnwell, South Carolina and had made the Augusta area his home for most of his life. He was a crane operator with Columbia Nitrogen and was a member of Silvercrest Baptist Church.
Additional survivors include one son, William (Will) Adair, Augusta; his mother of Augusta; one brother, James Jeffery Adair and his wife Vicky, Hephzibah; several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Jerry Leonard, Mike Stallings, Tim Crawley, Chris Johnson, Dicky Wiggins and Joey Henderson.
