JEANNETTE PLINER, an amazing lady passed away August 2, 2010. She was a loving wife to an exceptional pianist, Al Pliner who preceded her in death.

She is survived by her adoring son David, who has devoted months of support, comfort and care for his beloved mother, her daughter in law Judy Pliner, loving relatives, and countless friends. Jeanette had a tremendous passion for family, friends and animals. Her biggest pleasure was sitting in her sunroom looking at her garden filled with a multitude of feeders for the daily visits from her feathered friends, squirrels and neighborhood pets. A longtime employee of Meredith Long Gallery where she helped collectors of art add to the beauty of their homes. She was a dedicated worker until her retirement. We all feel exquisitely blessed to have had Jeanette here to enrich our lives, she will be missed.

A funeral service is planned for 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 5, 2010 at Beth Israel Memorial Gardens 1101 Antoine. Cantor Robert Gerber will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the charity of your choice. To sign the online guestbook for the family, visit www. houstonjewishfunerals.com.
