STRAFFORD - Services for Oscar L. Winstead, 84, Strafford, will be at 7 p.m. today in Klingner Chapel in Springfield, with the Rev. Harold Spradling officiating. A second service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in Lake Creek Church with burial in Smithton, Mo., Cemetery. Mr. Winstead died at 11:05 a.m. Tuesday in Maranatha Manor in Springfield after a short illness. He was a native of Jacksonville, Ill., and had been a Strafford area resident for the past 25 years. He was a retired farmer and a member of Strafford United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, Pearl; a daughter, Mrs. June Taylor, Strafford; two sons, L.A., of Camdenton, and Boyd, of Blue Springs; three sisters, Mrs. Nellie Montgomery, Kansas City, Mrs. Josephine Gardner, Fort Wayne, Ind., and Mrs. Mame Tobin, Leeds, N.D.; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
