CHARLES AUGUSTUS FOSTER
Charles Augustus Foster was born Aug. 8, 1864 in Sparta, Ill., and was consequently 43 years old only a few weeks before his death. He was an agent for the T&P Railroad.
He was married to Miss Lena Proud, daughter of Mr. S. H. Proud, to this union was born two girls and one boy. The young wife and daughter, Florence, preceded him in death. The pallbearers were: L. Trice, Page Harris, Cooper Nott, Dr. J.A. Moore, J.W. Everman, R.B. Ayers, J.M. Mottley, W.K. Eckman, R. G. Brown and B.L. Farror of Longview. Burial was at Greenwood.
He is survived by his widow, daughter and son."
