Leesville - Services for Jacob E. Lindler, 85, will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday from Mt. Hebron Lutheran Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. tonight, Tuesday, at Barr-Price Funeral Home, Historic B-L Chapel. Memorials may be made to Mt. Hebron Lutheran Church Organ Fund, 2347 Summerland Hwy., Leesville, SC 29070. Mr. Lindler died Sunday, May 11, 2003. Born in Chapin, he was a son of the late Jonas and Maggie Meetze Lindler. He was a member of Mt. Hebron Lutheran Church and was a retired farmer and saw miller. Surviving are son, Franklin (Cathy) Lindler of Leesville; daughters, Sara (Frog) Matthews and Paulette (Wade) Spradley of Leesville; brothers, Leroy Lindler of Prosperity and Daniel Lindler of Chapin; sisters, Emma Lindler of Newberry; Ethel Shealy of Lexington; 9 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 1 great- great-grandchild. www.Barr-Price.com. © The State, Columbia, SC, 13 May 2003
