SHERIDEN ~ Graveside services for Genevieve Dorothy Applegren Reavis, 92, will be held in the Elks Cemetery of Sheridan on Wednesday… Mrs. Reavis died at Sheridan Memorial Hospital on Aug. 31, 1996. She was born April 12, 1904, at Peoria, Ill., the daughter of Edward and Elizabeth Bell (Barnes) Applegren.

She married Jack Reavis on Oct. 17 1925, in Spokane, Wash. They lived in Spokane for five years and then moved to Dayton, where she raised her family and lived most of her life… She moved to Sheridan after the death of her husband in August 1979 and later moved to the Pioneer Home of Thermopolis, where she resided for nine years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and one sister, Mary Erickson. Survivors include her daughter, Norma DeLapp of Kaycee; her son, Dean Reavis of Las Vegas…"
