WILLIAM F. DUKE DIES; SERVICES HELD SUNDAY
SERVED OVER 50 YEARS WITH PENNSYLVANIA RAILROAD
Funeral services were held Sunday at 2 p.m. from the Shulenberger funeral home in Carlisle for William F. Duke of Lemoyne, who died Thursday night at the Dulaney Convalescent home in Harrisburg. He was the husband of the former Jessie Null, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Abram Null of Carlisle. Burial was made in the mausoleum at Westminster cemetery, Carlisle.
A well-known retired conductor of the Pennsylvania railroad, Mrs. Duke was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Duke of Shippensburg. He served for over 50 years, retiring 12 years ago. He was 77 years of age.
Mr. Duke was a member of the Lutheran church in Lemoyne and its Sunday school orchestra. He also held memberships in the Perserverance Lodge, F. and A.M. and in the Brotherhood of Railroad Conductors.
Surviving are his wife, and a sister
